All of our skins are commercially tanned, by the best tanneries in the U.S., and we use only the best forms, glass eyes and materials, in mounting your trophy. We devote great time and care to the eyes, nose and ears, to make your trophy Look Alive. All of our mounts have deep nostrils in the nose, and nictitating membranes in the eyes, and are exceptionally well groomed. We usually have some Capes and Skins For Sale, such as Pronghorn Antelope, Mule Deer, Coues Whitetail Deer, Elk, Javelina and Oryx Capes, and Black Bear and Mountain Lion Hides, for Lifesize Mounts, or Rugs. We have won many State Awards, in New Mexico and Arizona, Regional Awards at the Western Regionals, in New Mexico and Arizona, and National Awards at the NTA, with our Pronghorn Antelope, Mule Deer, Coues Whitetail Deer, Elk, Oryx, Javelina, Aoudad/Barbary Sheep, Russian Boar, and Black Bear Mounts. Some examples are the First Place Pronghorn Antelope Mount at the National competition, The First Honest Pronghorn Antelope Award at Western Regionals, in Arizona, The Breakthrough Award for Judges’ Best of Show, on a Pronghorn Antelope Mount, at the New Mexico Show, The Best Pronghorn Antelope mount in New Mexico, the First Place Masters Choice Award, on a Coues Whitetail Deer mount, at the National Competition, the WASCO Award, for the Most Artistic Mount, on a Javelina mount, at the Arizona Show, the Best African Mount on an Oryx, at New Mexico, and the People’s Choice Award on a Russian Boar mount, at the Arizona Show. We are located Northwest of Lordsburg, just off U.S. highway 70, in Southwest New Mexico, just across the border from Arizona, about 5 minutes from interstate # 10. We are located in New Mexico GMU 27, next to the Burro Mountains and New Mexico GMU 23 & 26. We are a short drive from New Mexico GMU 24 & 25, the Peloncillo Mountains, the Hatchet Mountains, the Gila Wilderness, Arizona GMU 27-32, and the border crossing at Aqua Prieta, from Old Mexico. We are located in a Prime Big Game Hunting Area, only minutes from “World Class” Pronghorn Antelope, Javelina, Mule Deer, Coues Whitetail Deer, Elk, Ibex, Desert Bighorn Sheep, Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep, Black Bear and Mountain Lion hunting. We are also located within 2 to 3 hours of the best Oryx and Bison/Buffalo hunting in the United States. About

Our Son, Jason Edwards, has been part of Edwards Taxidermy since 2004. Jason is a full-time, NTA Certified Big Game Taxidermist. He attended Howard College and New Mexico State University. He is a Lifetime Member of the National Taxidermists Association and belongs to the New Mexico Taxidermy Association. Jason has won awards at both the National Taxidermists Association Competition and the New Mexico Taxidermy Competition. Jason enjoys Bow Hunting Big Game animals, especially Elk, Mule Deer, Coues Whitetail Deer, and Javelina in the Gila National Forest of Southwest New Mexico. He has also guided Big Game Hunters in New Mexico. Joel is a Lifetime member of the National Taxidermists Association, and has served on the National Board of Directors. He has also served as NTA President and Vice President, and chairman of the NTA Competition Judges Committee. He received the NTA “Director of the Year” Award in 2006. He has also served as President and Vice President of the New Mexico Taxidermy Association. Joel received both, the McKenzie Distinguished Service Award, and the NTA Distinguished Service Award, from the NMTA. Joel is an official Big Game Measurer for the Pope and Young Club, Safari Club International, and the Longhunter Society. He enjoys Bow Hunting Big Game animals, especially Elk and Mule Deer, in the Gila National Forest, and Pronghorn Antelope and Javelina, near his Big Game Studio, in Southwest New Mexico. He also, has an avid interest in hunting, and mounting, the Coues Whitetail Deer, and has Guided for Elk, Mule Deer, Coues Whitetail Deer, Oryx, and Javelina, in New Mexico. His Big Game mounts have won many Major Awards in New Mexico, Arizona, Western Regionals, and at the National Taxidermy Competition. In past years, his Big Game Mounts have won 31 Blue Ribbons, the Breakthrough Award for Judges’ Choice Best of Show (Pronghorn Antelope Mount), 5 Best of Category Big Game Mounts (Pronghorn Antelope, Javelina, and Russian Boar Mounts), 2 People’s Choice Awards (Pronghorn Antelope and Russian Boar Mounts), a Taxidermists’ Choice Award (Pronghorn Antelope Mount), the WASCO Award for the Most Artistic Mount (Javelina Mount), the Research Mannikins’ First Honest Pronghorn Antelope Award, the New Mexico “Best Pronghorn Antelope” Award, the Van Dyke’s Award for the Most Original and Creative Presentation (Pronghorn Antelope Mount), 3 Noonkester Best Boar Awards (Russian Boar and Javelina Mounts), the Jonas Award for the Best African Mount (Oryx Mount), and the NTA Masters Choice Award (Coues Whitetail Deer Mount).
